Tree Life

Swiss Family Robinson (German: Der Schweizerische Robinson)
....written in 1812 by the Swiss pastor Johann David Wyss; this novel recounts the fictional tale of a family who, en route to Port Jackson, Australia, find themselves shipwrecked and lost in somewhere in the East Indies... while waiting for help, the family builds the most kick ass tree house EVER!

Movie set for Walt Disney's production of  "Swiss Family Robinson." 1959.

Spotted by Art director John Howell through a gap in a fence surrounding a cricket field just outside the town of Goldsborough, Tobabgo. The
200-foot set was constructed in this living Samaan tree in 1959. Disney Studios originally planned to remove all evidence of movie-making from the island at the end of shooting, however the native Trinis fell in love with the structure and had it left as a tourist attraction. The treehouse structure was eventually ruined by a hurricane but the Samaan tree itself still survives today!!! ......What a tree.

Narrator: "On the golden sands of Miami Beach, a certain well-known champion of justice is secretly enjoying a much-needed rest. As he relaxes by the calm blue waters of the ocean, little does he realize that many miles away, float the victims of a shipwreck, the Swiss Cheese Family Robinson, hoping that somehow their message for help will reach civilization."

Father Robinson: "Don't you sometimes feel that this is the kind of life we were meant to live on this earth? Everything we need, everything, right here, right at our fingertips. You know, if only people could have all this and be satisfied, I don't think there'd be any real problems in the world."

Kate The Great

Finally reading Russell Brand’s second autobiography Bookie Wook 2  : P ...it sounds cheesy BUT! his vocabulary is untouchable and the book is fucking hilarious, cant read it in public, makes me look properly crazy laughing in the midst of dead silence to myself. mmmm anyways, book opens with a dialogue about Kate Moss, so yes! A post to the greatest model of our century, never ever get sick of her : )

"Not canonized Kate, not the Kate who can only be squinted at least her radiance shreds your mortal retinas, not the Kate who'd had God present at her conception, ushering through the holy sperm to the sainted ovum, where the orgasmic cries of her parents harmonized with the salutations of the choiring cherubim." p.7

SIREN, Marc Quinn, 2008
a life sized, 18-carat gold sculpture of Kate Moss by British contemporary artist Marc Quinn that was promoted as the largest gold statue since ancient Egypt!

"Beyond the dreams of Pharaohs and Nazis there is an inaccessible gold that shimmers like a halo above Kate Moss. Is it her hair? Her aura? Her hair's aura? Her aura's hair? I try to drift past her nonchalantly, ignoring my own cacophonous swallows and ticks." p.8

SUNKISSED

One of my favorite smells,  my skin after I’ve been out in the sun for too long...and suntan lotion in the summer....um um, it doesn't sound that good but, it makes me feel warm and I think of orange popsicles after a day at the beach, a hot cloudless sky and a bit of left over sand and a red bikini I don't want to take off until bed time
good good good
now I want to go to the cabin : (
i love wildfox
